Strange and Misc. Strange and Misc.

clifthouse.jpg The San Francisco Clifthouse. It burned down a long time ago, in the 1960s(?). The concrete foundation is still there though, there is now a restaurant on it. The original building shown in this picture had an ice skating rink, and a museum dedicated to the circus freak Tom Thumb.

rollsphantom5.jpg A 1962 Rolls-Royce Phantom V Limousine. This is one of only seven built that year, and it's the only one with the stearing wheel on the American side. It cost $50,000 new, but is now worth considerably more. It was owned by Liberace, who owned many rare and unusual cars, and it's now in the Liberace Museum in downtown Las Vegas.

newcliffhouse.jpg The current Clifthouse building. It's prettymuch a tourist trap now. There are three restaurants and several gift shops. It sits on the concrete foundation that the original stood on. A picture of the original is linked above. :)
